DEMONS

Demonic Life:

Demons exist in the Demon Realm initially. This is a harsh place that fully embodies survival of the fittest. The Demon Realm is where the human concept of hell has come from due to it's barren, rocky terrain; intense heat that causes random wildfires and scarce opportunity for food. Natural disasters are incredibly common in the Demon Realm and the inhabitants have to just deal with it.

Lower Tier Demons usually band together to survive or try to escape to the human world. Mid tier demons methods of survival changes depending on their type. Demon Lords are the only beings who can live without help here.

Lesser demons are born from other Lesser Demons and as such are generally raised in families similar to those seen by humans, though Polyamory is the norm in this realm. Partially due to the increased survivability and partly because Demons are far more capable of it than humans.

Mid tier Demons are laid as eggs, generally in groups. It's expected of them to band together from birth and it's rare any form of generic family is formed. This causes feelings of loneliness and abandonment in most of these Demons but being in a group of other mid tier Demons helps alleviate it.

Passage to the human realm is only possible from certain locations in the realm. These are hard to get to and generally guarded by powerful creatures or Demon Lords under the instruction of the ruler of the realm. In addition it requires a certain level of power and a ritual to make passage possible.

The ruler of the realm is only met by Demon lords and decides the laws of the realm that all Demons must follow.

Demonic Hierarchy:

All Demons are capable of a certain level of fire manipulation. Some only maniuplating existing fire, others are able to create it.

Lesser Demon: Also known as Sub Demon or Low Tier Demon. The weakest of the demons, they have the ability to do almost anything but they aren't particularly powerful or skilled in any one thing. They have more durable skin than humans but to a much lesser extent than a higher rank Demon. They have improved strength, speed and other aspects than humans but again to a lesser extent than a higher rank Demon. They aren't quite fireproof, you can set them on fire but it takes an intense heat to actually do damage. Tend to be raised by other Demons.

Demon: Also known as Specialist Demon, Standard Demon or Mid Tier Demon. These Demons forfeit the versatility of doing all things in exchange for a high level of skill and power with magic specific to their type. Imps, Succubi, Incubi, Corrupters and Possesors are examples of these. They have much more durable skin than Humans, much more so than Lesser Demons. They have considerably better strength, speed and other aspects than humans, much more so than a Lesser Demon. This is when they become completely fireproof. Left to grow up alone.

Demon Lord: Also known as Daemon, Powerful Demon or High Tier Demon. These are the most powerful Demons and have a broad range of abilities. These Demons whilst still not capable of doing everything are capable of such a spectrum of skils that it seems like it. Much more durable than a Mid Tier Demon. They have much more in the way of strength, speed and other aspects than Mid Tier Demons. This type of Demon is not born or hatched, it requires unique circumstances to affect a lower tier demon. These circumstances are incredibly stressing on the deon and usually results in death. This is more common for a mid tier than a low tier but is still so rare as to result in there being only 1/100000000 Demons of this rank.
