Werewolves

General Information:

There are three types of werewolf that exist, each one has it's own special aspects to it that defines it. Werewolf lifespan has never been properly worked out as the ages of death are right across the board. Some have lived much longer than a normal human and some have died very early. It also doesn't help that due to prejudice a lot of werewolves are killed. Their saliva contains a chemical that can cause humans to become werewolves, occasionally the claws of a werewolf will also secrete this fluid.

Lineage Werewolf:

A lineage werewolf is somebody who has been born a werewolf. As long as one parent is a Werewolf the child has a chance to be one as well. If both parents are lineage werewolves then the child will definitely be one. If one parent is a lineage werewolf then there is a high chance the child will be too. If one parents is a conversion werewolf then there is a 50/50 chance the child will be a lineage werewolf. If one parent is a transfer werewolf then there is a low chance of the child being a werewolf. These do of course stack (Transfer and conversion for parents makes around a 65% chance for werewolf child).

A lineage werewolf can transform at will, anytime. They can become a full wolf, a werewolf or stay human. The higher skilled lineage werewolves have the ability to perform partial transformations such as a wolf style version of a neko or growing large werewolf claws. They experience varying energy and mood swings based on the phase of the moon. Getting more aggressive and wild yet more energized around the full moon and lazy, slow and lethargic around the new moon. They can eat like a human or a wolf to survive. Their physical body is naturally augmented, increasing strength, speed and sense of smell. They are higher attuned to danger.

Conversion Werewolf:

This is somebody who has obtained enough werewolf chemical to have the ability to fully transform. These people can control, with difficulty, a normal wolf transformation at almost any time but the 2 nights leading up to a full moon, during the full moon itself and the 2 nights afterwards they will become a werewolf without choosing to. This is only when exposed to the moon itself (even in the day if it's visible) During this time they are unable to perform their normal wolf transformation. The phase of the moon has an effect on their mood and energy just like a lineage werewolf but to a lesser effect. They tend to like cooked meats less and tend towards the rawer style of cooking. Their physical augmentations are directly linked to exactly how much chemical they've obtained.

Transfer  Werewolf:

These are somebody who've obtained a small amount of werewolf chemical. They have absolutely no control over their wolf aspects. They aren't able to transform into anything at will. During the 2 nights leading up to a full moon, during the full moon itself and the 2 nights afterwards they will perform a partial werewolf transformation without choosing to. This is only when exposed to the moon itself (even in the day if it's visible) This is usually very painful due to the nature of the transformation, often times the result of certain parts changing causes massive injury or death. For example somebody with a very miniscule amount might only transform their spine and as a result their back rips open resulting in death through blood loss. The phase of the moon has an effect on their mood and energy just like a lineage werewolf but to a much lesser effect. Their tastes for food won't be changed. Their smell and physical strength will be slightly improved.
